Chani is a London & Essex-based theatre director and facilitator.
As a Director she specialises in
musicals,
working with young people,
and new writing;
often combining the roles of director and movement director. Her work spans across London, East Anglia, and national touring.
She trained on the Birkbeck Theatre Directing MFA, where she earned the Peter Cheeseman Award. She has a BA in Education with English and Drama, and also works as an educator and facilitator, delivering workshops to young people and youth theatre groups. She is an experienced dancer and dance teacher.
